Setup build: setup-v1.1.25 — if this text is missing after upload, you are still on the old installer in a different folder.

Welcome — EcommSuite setup

Follow the steps below, then fill in the form. Use your business name — not the product title.

Before you start Create a MySQL database in cPanel
  1. Open cPanel → MySQL Databases.
  2. Create a database. Copy the full name shown afterward (it usually includes a prefix).
  3. Create a user and password. Copy the full username.
  4. Add the user to the database and tick ALL PRIVILEGES.

Host is almost always localhost. If a detail is wrong, you will see a clear message on this page.

1. Upload — In File Manager, open your domain’s Document Root (the folder that already contains this site’s install.php). Upload and extract there so files overwrite in place. Do not extract into a second folder named after your domain.

2. Confirm — After upload, this page must show a build marker like setup-v1.1.25 at the top. Or open /setup.php (rescue). If you still see the old “Install | EcommSuite” title with no marker, you are editing the wrong folder.

3. PHP — In cPanel → Select PHP Version, choose 8.1 or newer.

4. This form — Enter your full database details, company name, website address (starting with https://, no slash at the end), and the admin login you want to use.

5. If setup cannot create tables — In phpMyAdmin, select your database → Import → choose the SQL file from the database folder in your package → Go. Then tick “I already imported the database” below and submit again.

6. After success — Sign in to admin, then delete or rename the setup file for security.
